Azhar Giniyat graduated from Aktobe State Medical Institute with a degree in Pediatrics, Aktau State University named after. Sh. Yesenova with a degree in “Manager of State and Local Government”, and Almaty Management University with a degree in “Master of Business Administration MBA”.

Work experience

Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akmaral Alnazarova introduced the new head of the National Center for Children’s Rehabilitation, Azhar Giniyat, to the team of the National Center for Children’s Rehabilitation.

She began her career in 1993 as a local pediatrician at city clinic No. 2 in Atypay.

From 1994-1999 – Head of the department of Medical Sanitary Unit No. 1 of Aktau.
In 1999-2001 – Deputy Chief Physician for Medical Work at the Mangistau Infectious Diseases Hospital.
In 2001-2005 – Deputy Head of the Health Department of the Mangistau Region.
In 2005-2006 – Director of the Department of Health of the Mangistau Region.
In 2008-2017 – Head of department, director of department of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2017-2020 – Deputy Head of the Medical Center of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2020-2022 –  Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2022-2024 – served as Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On March 15, 2024, by order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, she was appointed Chairman of the Board of the National Center for Children’s Rehabilitation.

For achievements in the field of healthcare development, the Republic of Kazakhstan was awarded the badges “For Contribution to the Development of Healthcare”, “Excellence in Healthcare”, and the state award “Kurmet Order”.
